Annex to a house

The annex of a listed worker’s house is laterally extended on the basement and ground-floor levels. The exposed, light-coloured concrete continues the relief of the existing plaster façades as a cast replica.

Inside, the residential floor was restructured by a single architectural intervention. A new and continuous, built-in piece of furniture accommodates all functions such as kitchen, wardrobes, and toilet. By opening and closing parts of the in-built furniture, the residents can use the rooms in different ways.
